Welcome to Dodero Studio Ceramics

Hi, I hope you enjoy the site, feel free to contact me if you have questions on site navigation or my product line of raku pottery and ceramics.

I have been working with the Raku process since early 1970 and find it a versatile decorative style, fitting into a wide range of decors.  The range of colors in the raku patina was chosen to blend in and bridge to colors in your home.   Some of the raku colors are traditional and some contemporary.

The pottery is all cast from my originals which makes the shapes and sizes very consistent and delivery times predictable.  The raku glazes have a random quality and can vary depending on glaze thickness and firing conditions.  It is always a subjective call in ceramics as to what is a technical flaw or an aesthetic quality, I do my best to make the distention on a piece to piece basis, please keep this in mind if you have a low tolerance for glaze inconsistencies.

My primary business revolves around my Wholesale accounts which are scattered around the US.   A list of locations for my Raku pottery can be found on the links page

You are also welcome to purchase pottery through this site; my full line of raku pottery and ceramics are represented here.   I hope your experience easy and enjoyable and I look forward to working with you.

Information for new raku wholesale accounts can be found on this link.

Thank you for your interest in my work,
John Dodero
